This class teaches several important accounting concepts and principles, such as understanding the various types of income and expenses and how to understand financial statements. It also identifies taxation rules that apply to real estate practitioners, including passive activity rules, depreciation and depreciation recapture, cost segregation, and the fundamentals of calculating gain on sale plus there is a review of the 1031 Tax-deferred Exchange rules as they relate to real estate. After completing this course, you will be able to:
