Valuation of Commercial Real Estate is the sixth course in the Certified Commercial Advisor (CCA) designation program. This class introduces the concepts of real estate, real property, personal property, land and estates in real property. It explains the nature of value and market value and how to identify real estate markets. Additionally, it presents important appraisal principles such as supply and demand, substitution, balance and externalities and presents real estate cycles and the life cycle of a market area. It concludes by addressing the issues of market and marketability analysis, highest and best use analysis, and the various approaches to value. After completing this course, you will be able to:
